On Friday 23 November, we had the great pleasure of holding our first Melbourne client Christmas party at Bond Bar in the CBD. The venue was perfect – classy and cool with delicious food and drinks.
It was a fantastic opportunity to gather our clients, along with members of The Missing Link team for the first large scale celebration since we opened our Melbourne office in April 2017. Since then, we have grown from a local staff of two to eight employees and we’re looking to hire more. This is a very exciting time for us as we focus on delivering the right solutions for you.
The party was the perfect time to reflect upon the successes we have all experienced in the 19 months since opening our Melbourne office. We’ve received some remarkable recognition that we’re incredibly proud of:
- ARN ICT Industry Awards 2017: Clare Burman won the Sales Excellence award, while Aaron Bailey was recognised for Management Excellence.
- ARN Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA) 2017: Alana Reynard took home the Technical Excellence award.
- AFR Fast 100: The Missing Link ranked 7th on the Australian Financial Review's Fast 100 list, a list of the fastest growing companies of all types across the country, measured by average financial growth across 3 years.
- CRN Fast 50: We placed 24th on the Channel Reseller News' Fast 50 list, for our top line growth performance in the last financial year. This is the 3rd time that The Missing Link has made it onto this coveted list.
- ARN ICT Industry Awards 2018: We won Channel Choice Partner (decided by a vote from all ICT channel companies nationally)
- ARN Hall of Fame 2018: Our very own CEO, Alex Gambotto, was inducted into the Hall of Fame, becoming the 40th recipient to be inducted since its beginnings in 2007, an honour reserved as one of the highest levels of recognition in the Australian ICT industry.
- ARN Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA) 2018: On the day of our Melbourne party, our Marketing Manager, Rebecca Ney took out the Rising Star award.
The holiday season can be a time of reflection and we are truly humbled at the constant and repeated recognition that we receive from our clients, our partners and from the industry as a whole.
Thank you again for your support, not only now, but throughout 2018.
And finally, thank you to all of our partners and clients that came along to celebrate a big year, and those that couldn’t be there on the night. We have some very clever people that make up our growing dream team but without you, our clients, none of our success would be possible. Thank you for believing in us and giving us a go, for coming back time and again and leveraging our abilities in order to create solutions that work.
Here’s to 2019 – let’s hope it’s even bigger and better than 2018!
