Sydney, [5 February, 2025] – The Missing Link, a leading provider of cyber security solutions, has appointed Tim Niblett as Head of Security Operations, reinforcing its commitment to resilience, innovation, and strategic growth in cyber defence.
With 30 years in IT—including two decades specialising in cyber security—Tim has led security operations across Defence, Law Enforcement, and Financial Services. He has held senior leadership roles at NSW Police, AMP, AXA, and IBM, driving cyber security strategies in highly complex environments.
Having lived and worked in the UK, France, Spain, and Australia, Tim brings a global perspective on security risk management and has led teams across the Americas and Asia. His ability to blend deep technical expertise with business strategy will be instrumental in strengthening The Missing Link’s security operations.
In his new role, Tim will oversee threat intelligence, incident response, and the expansion of managed security services across Australia and the UK, helping businesses stay ahead of emerging threats through AI-driven analytics, automation, and proactive cyber defence strategies.
