Tyson McNeill

Senior Project Manager

From the front lines to frontline infrastructure.

I began my career in the Australian Defence Force, serving 13 years across roles in operations, logistics and leadership. I joined at 17, and over time held positions as a Rifleman, Mechanic and Logistics Supply Chain Manager. The military shaped how I think, how I lead, and how I adapt. Transitioning into civilian life wasn’t easy—IT wasn’t an obvious path—but a specialist recruitment team helped me translate my skills into project management. Turns out, delivering high-stakes outcomes under pressure was second nature.

Today, I lead The Missing Link’s Infrastructure Project Management team. My focus is simple: deliver impactful, measurable results for our clients—on time, on budget, and in line with their business goals. I blend pacesetting with coaching, helping my team stay sharp and aligned, and ensuring we always bring clarity and control to complex projects.

What I missed most after leaving the Defence Force was the camaraderie. At The Missing Link, I’ve found that again. It’s a place where trust is earned and lived, where shared values drive high performance, and where people genuinely back one another.

Away from the keyboard, I coach my son’s soccer team, train in Muay Thai, and make time for the gym, cricket, AFL and family. Balance matters. So does perspective.
