I got into cyber security 25 years ago via networking and firewalls — which, at the time, was pretty much all there was to cyber security.
At The Missing Link, I head up Security Operations, covering our Monitoring & Detection (SOC/SIEM) services and Managed Network Services (Firewalls/SASE). I lead a team of around 40 people delivering 24/7 services to our clients, along with managing internal security for The Missing Link Group.
My career has always focused on Security Operations, and I’ve been fortunate to live and work in the UK, Spain, France, Australia, and spend meaningful time in India. Highlights include operational work with NSW Police and working with advanced tooling in real-time banking environments.
What I’ve enjoyed most over the years is working alongside passionate, supportive people — and that’s exactly what brought me to The Missing Link. Many companies talk about culture and wellbeing, but this is one of the few places where those values are genuinely lived every day.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time living vicariously through my three kids — making music, flying model planes, playing tennis, or enjoying those rare moments of quiet family time.
