Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “To handle yourself, use your head; to handle others, use your heart”. These wise words have helped to guide me as Chief Operating Officer at The Missing Link.
I work right across the company, taking responsibility for finance, sales, marketing, human resources and day to day operations. I really enjoy working on the strategic side of the business too – setting our company goals then monitoring our progress as we go about achieving them.
I have been with The Missing Link since 2002, it was my first role in the IT and services sector, and I love it. The role is very rewarding – mostly because I’m involved in delivering a variety of projects and I’m surrounded by inspiring people. I love listening to them and gaining an understanding of how they problem solve and what motivates them. I enjoy learning about their successes and I particularly enjoy supporting their endeavours to meet our clients’ needs.
When I’m not working, my favourite past-time is travelling. As that’s not possible all the time, my second favourite past-time is cooking – which brings me to my favourite gadget. My food processor of course!
