One of my favourite quotes is from Dr Seuss: “How did it get so late so soon". And that’s exactly how I feel at the end of every day, because I just love what I do and time seems to fly. As Principal Security Consultant at The Missing Link, not only do I get to hack into some of the most (and least) advanced companies in Australia and the world, I also get hands-on business operation experience, which has always been a interest of mine.
When I reflect back over the years, security has been a major part of my life. I started with coding cryptographic libraries and tools during Uni, moved on to security engineering, and then security consulting. At The Missing Link, I've climbed the ladder from Security Consultant to Senior and now to Principal.
Although I’d sarcastically like to say that I single-handedly carry the whole company, the reality is I stand on the shoulders of giants, and I’m honoured to be part of this incredible team. This, along with my responsibility to help run and coordinate advanced security consulting projects and Red/Purple Teams, means I truly value my place at The Missing Link.
Life gets pretty hectic sometimes, so when I’m not at work I make it a priority to slow down, take a breather, enjoy life, smell the roses… and once recharged, party with friends! Or maybe some time with my favourite gadget: my non-stick frying pan!
